Stilvallen geeft veerkracht — a visual journey

For Odisee, I developed a one-page website exploring the themes of pausing and resilience among care professionals. The website invites visitors to discover the story step by step, guided by illustrations that bring six central themes to life. The color palette is soft yet powerful, with shades of pink and green combined with black and white for contrast and clarity. Textures and compositions create a tangible, almost poetic effect. The illustrations give the project a human and intimate character. They invite slowing down, looking, and feeling — exactly what the theme calls for. The style is figurative with a subtle touch of surrealism. A central character is surrounded by symbolic elements — flowers, hands, lips, eyes — referring to growth, connection, perception, and vulnerability. These motifs are not decorative; they visually reinforce the theme. Later on, a workbook was also developed for a broader audience, in which the illustrations again play an important role. They deepen the content and make the project accessible and emotionally engaging.
